Parents' Night Out is an outreach event designed to extend the Gospel to unchurched families in our community. By offering low-cost childcare, Parents’ Night Out seeks to lower the barrier to entry into our church building and to foster meaningful relationships between PCPC members and the families who attend, with the ultimate goal of sharing the Gospel. In order to make Parents' Night Out a success, we need help in the following ways:
1) Greeters: build relationships with neighborhood families by greeting parents as they drop off and pick up their kids. Greeters can volunteer for drop off (6:00-6:30 p.m.), pick up (8:30-9:00 p.m.), or the whole night.
2) Childcare Volunteers: guide kids through a fun schedule of activities while their parents enjoy the night out, with the goal of sharing the Gospel and making kids feel safe, loved, and valued so that they want to come back to church.
Volunteers of all ages are welcomed. Parents can bring their children with them to volunteer (and can sign up for a future Parents' Night Out in exchange). MinistrySafe training is required.
