Habakkuk 2:14 declares that “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea” How do you fit into the fulfillment of this prophecy? Well, one way is through the Southwest Church Planting Network and your support of it via your financial gifts to PCPC.

In 1997 PCPC made a commitment to plant 50 churches in North America by the year 2020, and the Network was formed to accomplish this. So far 28 PCA churches have been planted through the support of PCPC and many other churches in the Southwest. The Network serves and is a part of four PCA Presbyteries—North Texas, South Texas, Houston Metro, and Southwest—which include four states: Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Fifty-five PCA churches in all have joined together to extend Christ’s Kingdom in the Southwest.

The Network has also been committed to providing assistance and funding to start new Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) ministries on college campuses around the Southwest, and has started ministries on eight campuses since its inception in 1998.

We can link the verse from Habakkuk to 2 Corinthians 4:6, where Paul tell us that “[God] has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” Whether you knew it or not, you have been a part of spreading the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ through your support of the Network via PCPC!

You cannot imagine the lives that have been transformed by and for the glory of God through this work. As you browse through this list of church plants and RUF ministries, please pray that the Lord would bring many to Himself through them. To God be the glory!
