What's Happening at PCPC

Earthquake relief efforts in Haiti

Many people have asked how they could help the thousands so horribly affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti. PCPC recommends:

  1. Concentrated prayer for the residents of Haiti, for the Haitian government, and for outside organizations and people who are trying to help. Here are some ways to pray.
    • For the people of Haiti, that they would see compassion and derive hope from the outpouring of help.
    • For the effort of help to be sustained and for the confidence of the Haitians in that perseverance to grow.
    • For the volunteers who travel to Haiti to remain safe, invigorated, and committed.
    • That God would direct PCPC in its involvement with the Haitian rehabilitative effort.
    • For the LEAP Foundation to be responsive to the unique calling it has received.
    • For everything that happens in Haiti to bring people closer to Jesus Christ as He walks among us through the Holy Spirit in this devastated country.
  2. Giving to our denominational affiliates: Mission to the World (MTW) and Mission to North America (MNA). Each agency has established relationships with key leaders and church planters in Haiti, and each already has humanitarian works in process which can greatly benefit by your donations.

    MNA Disaster Response

    MTW Minuteman Appeal

  3. Giving to three other organizations who have ties to PCPC members and are gathering donations and working to send assistance to Haiti:

    LEAP Foundation
    East-West Ministries
    GAiN
