Help needed in Moore, OK

"For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints— and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us." ---2 Corinthians 8:3-5

"Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality." —Romans 12:13

On Monday afternoon an EF-5 tornado ripped through Moore, OK leaving incredible destruction in its path. Our denomination’s disaster outreach, MNA Disaster Response, is working with local PCA leadership to help assess damages and put together the best means to help those in need. Once this plan is in place the details will be posted to their website, www.pcamna.org.

  • PRAY: Please pray for the pastors of the community, those who have suffered loss, the first responders and rescue workers, and the MNA staff and volunteers.
  • GIVE: Please consider giving to the tremendous needs that have resulted from this storm; a designated fund has been established by MNA for this event; to donate, click here. If you prefer, you may mail your donation to MNA, 1700 N. Brown Rd., Suite 101, Lawrenceville, GA  30043.
(Please know that MNA does not charge any fees, so 100% of all donations go to serve the needs of those affected by the storm. Also, please do not send any unsolicited items.)
  • GO: Please consider putting together a team to go and serve in the rebuilding effort; to register as a disaster response volunteer please click here. (Please do not go until mobilized; once you have registered you will be notified about dates you will be needed to serve. Unscheduled volunteers will not be allowed to serve.)
