An offering will be taken to benefit local PCPC-supported ministries, one of which is Advocates for Community Transformation. Founded in 2009, ACT is a new model of ministry that uses the justice system to empower inner-city residents to fight crime on their street while sharing with them the hope of the gospel. ACT’s model seamlessly integrates justice and evangelism as it promotes safer, more stable neighborhoods and sustainable change that improve the quality of life for residents in our target neighborhoods of West and South Dallas.
"Support from PCPC is crucial to sustaining spiritual formative initiatives such as discipleship, Family Bible Study, and fellowship necessary to nurture clients' faith and trust in the Lord that embolden them to become the public face of their street as they hold owners of crime-ridden properties accountable in a court of law."
