Because we at PCPC recognize increased divorce rates as a growing challenge in the church, we desire to offer a ministry specifically for those going through this grievous process. DivorceCare is a ministry that works to help those affected by divorce face the challenges that accompany divorce and to move towards rebuilding life. It will give the hurt a safe place to begin their healing process and to receive God's comfort and support.
Beginning January 16, DivorceCare will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings 7:00 - 8:30 pm for a total of 13 weeks. Meetings will take place in the North room of Oak Lawn West (formerly Park Place Motors). Materials cost $15 per person (scholarships available).
For children ages birth-5, childcare reservations are required by calling 214-706-2797.
For further information, please contact Barbara Kidd at 214-224-2742. You may also visit www.divorcecare.com and www.dc4k.org for more information.
To register for DivorceCare, please complete and submit a DivorceCare Registration Form. You can download a copy from the website, pick one up from Barbara Kidd’s office at Hampton Court, or you can request one via email from counseling@pcpc.org. Next, return your completed form by fax (214-224-2696), mail, email, or by dropping it by in person. Please register as soon as possible to reserve your place and materials. You may pay by cash or check (made payable to PCPC) and include your payment with your registration form. If you return your form via email or fax, please bring payment to the first meeting you attend. You will also be able to register between 6:45 and 7:00 pm on January 16 in Oak Lawn West (formerly Park Place Motors). Though DivorceCare begins January 16, enrollment is open throughout the semester.
